Throwback Thursday to the history behind one of Aggieland’s most powerful traditions. The cannon you hear on game day — the Spirit of ’02 — is a 3-inch M1902 field gun discovered by cadets in 1974 near Easterwood Airport while cutting wood for Bonfire.
