On Wildlife Conservation Day, we’re celebrating the incredible animals that call the Boreal Forest home! With millions of hectares of wild landscapes, the boreal is a launchpad for great migrations of wildlife. Moose roam its marshes, feeding on aquatic plants, while caribou travel for thousands of kilometres as they move from their boreal wintering areas to their tundra calving grounds. Fish like pike and perch rely on its rivers and lakes to thrive, and billions of birds migrate to the forest
