Sorry, the regulations changed 😔 ALL PIV installations should receive a ventilation certificate as part of the homes ventilation strategy. An electrician can install under electrical regulations, but they cannot commission the unit without being part of a CPS. This is applicable for ALL brands of PIV. Why would fit a PIV? Simply put, you shouldn't take air out of living rooms or bedrooms which means extract isn't an option. Getting the right unit is just as important as the fitting!
