This is the bobbit worm, a ten-foot long sea-dweller that hunts in the most nightmarish way imaginable. The worm digs itself into the sea floor, waits, and, using five antennae to sense passing prey, snaps down on them with supremely muscled mouth parts. It does this with such speed and strength that it can split a fish in two. And that, quite frankly, would be a merciful exit. Anything survives the initial attack get's yanked into the worm’s burrow. It's not yet known what exactly goes down ins
