Hundreds of residents gathered in downtown Truckee, CA, on Sunday for a vigil in memory of the victims of the Castle Peak avalanche. The avalanche struck last Tuesday during a guided backcountry ski trip, killing nine people. Five participants of the excursion and one guide survived what is now the deadliest avalanche in California history. All nine victims were recovered over the weekend: Andrew Alissandratos, 34 (Blackbird Mountain Guide) Michael Henry, 30 (Blackbird Mountain Guide) Nicole Cho
