The Nexxis powertrain is designed to be modular with the ability to daisy chain the modules to allow the robot to go further in pipes. The unit can navigate complex geometry and can go vertical in pipes. The powertrain also has the capability of adding a payload with a rotating centre capable of laser scanning the internals of the pipes and being interchangeable with other senses capturing high-quality data.
