Eight people are confirmed dead after an illegal mine shaft collapsed in Penhalonga, Manicaland, as authorities intensify efforts to recover remaining bodies and determine the full extent of the tragedy. Some victims have been retrieved and transported to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital in Mutare, while rescue teams continue to assess the site.
