LOCKYER VALLEY| Firefighters have had a busy couple of days battling bushfires in the Lockyer Valley. The Queensland Fire Department says a large blaze broke out on the Warrego Highway at Ringwood near Gatton at around 11:30am yesterday. It's now out after water bombing aircraft and rural and urban crews were brought in to battle the fire. The eastbound lanes of the highway near the Gatton Bypass Truck Stop were also closed off at the height of the blaze. It was the second bushfire this week.. a

Two firefighters suffered injuries after falling through a floor while battling a fire at a building under construction in San Francisco's Marina District. According to San Francisco Fire Department Chief Dean Crispen, as crews were battling the fire at a building on the 2500 block of Chestnut Street around 4:15 a.m., two firefighters who were on the third floor were injured when they fell through holes in the floor.
