Priya was bravely fighting cancer, but some time back this dangerous disease was detected again in her body, and her body has now stopped responding to treatment. Priya Marathe played the role of Ankita Lokhande’s sister, ‘Varsha,’ in the hit TV show Pavitra Rishta. She is survived by her husband, actor Shantanu Moghe! May her soul rest in peace."
