The International Festival of Life brought me to the park and then I took the time to read about the rich history. It was a nice walk from downtown and gave us a chance to walk by the Haymarket Memorial on the way.

The boundaries of Union Park are North Dean Road to the west, the Econlockhatchee River to the west and north, J Blanchard Trail to the north, Rouse Road to the east, and Bloomfield Drive to the south.
