Dec 20, 2024 · In order to get the fingerprint reader to work (and it has been working perfectly for years until W 24H2), I have to log in with my PIN, then disable and reenable the fingerprint reader. Also note the that even though the fingerprint reader does not work on boot, device manger does not say anything is wrong, it says the fingerprint reader is fine.
