The head of the Environmental Protection Agency moved to repeal a landmark environmental decision to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s administration on Tuesday proposed revoking a scientific finding that has long been the central basis for U.S. action to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.

Move would end limits on greenhouse gas pollution, hamper future efforts to combat global warming – and cut US$54 billion in costs annually.
