The passenger, identified as Kyle Clarke, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was subsequently transported to Bridgeport Hospital with serious injuries.

The grand opening took place Thursday, marking the introduction of a state-of-the-art betting facility just in time for the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 9.

Bridgeport police reported that the incident occurred Thursday morning when a Toyota Rav 4, attempting to make a turn, collided with the pedestrian who was legally crossing in the crosswalk.
