The New York Mets have reportedly shown interest in Chicago White Sox star Luis Robert Jr. ahead of the MLB trade deadline, but one report suggests the former All-Star would come at a very high price.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic first reported that New York acquired right-handed reliever Tyler Rogers from the Giants. In exchange, San Francisco will get reliever José Buttó and prospects Blade Tidwell (pitcher) and Drew Gilbert (outfielder), according to Joel Sherman of The New York Post.
