A suspicious device located outside of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station in Pacoima prompted evacuations and brought a bomb squad to the scene on Saturday afternoon. The discovery was made at around 2:30 p.m. outside of the station, which is located at 12760 Osborne Street, according to police.

“Because they were military devices, the LAPD collaborated with the United States Marine Corps’ Camp Pendleton EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) unit to determine whether the items were stable enough to be moved to storage,” police said.
