B ob Baffert confirmed on Thursday that, after scratching out of the Kentucky Derby due to a foot bruise, Rodriguez will run in next week’s Preakness Stakes (G1).

Rodriguez is a late foal (he was born on May 20), and his sire, 2020 Kentucky Derby winner Authentic, didn't get good until late in his 3-year-old year.
