Bo Naylor hit a three-run homer and Luis Ortiz kept Minnesota’s hitters off balance and off the scoreboard for 6 1/3 innings, leading the Cleveland Guardians to a 4-2 win over the Minnesota Twins.

It was a long day’s journey into night at Progressive Field on Tuesday. Most of it had to do with a nearly rainless rain delay that lasted over three hours. Then there was the game, which lasted until the bottom of the ninth inning when slumping Kyle Manzardo ended things with a leadoff homer to give the Guardians a 2-1 victory over the Twins.
