Grant Sputore ('I Am Mother') is directing the creature feature that is part of Legendary's MonsterVerse franchise.

Actor Delroy Lindo has joined the cast of the latest instalment of its Godzilla-King Kong movie franchise, as per The Hollywood Reporter. Grant Sputore is directing the creature feature, which showcases gigantic monsters and the humans caught in between.

Kaitlyn Dever is headlining the human cast, which also sees the return of Dan Stevens, who played laid-back monster veterinarian and dentist Trapper in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. O’Connell is playing Dever’s brother.

The last two films in the MonsterVerse came from Adam Wingard, but the director is stepping down, with Grant Supore set to take the helm for the upcoming yet-untitled Godzilla x K

The "Godzilla x Kong" movies are gloriously-dumb, delightfully-fun movies. This is very much a compliment. Now, the "MonsterVerse" brought to us by Legendary Pictures didn't start that way. "Godzilla" tried to be serious.
