Noah Cameron escaped a bases-loaded jam in the first before tossing five innings of three-hit ball, Maikel Garcia homered for the second time in three games, and the Kansas City Royals beat the Cleveland Guardians 4-1 on Sunday.

Noah Cameron led the Kansas City Royals to a 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians. He escaped a bases-loaded jam in the first inning and pitched five innings of three-hit ball.

The Cleveland Guardians were rolling and playing some of their best baseball of the season coming out of the All-Star Break. However, they hit a roadblock in Missouri with a series loss against the Kansas City Royals. The Guardians split Saturday’s doubleheader but lost Sunday’s rubber match in a frustrating fashion.
