A tornado outbreak is expected to rip parts of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois on Wednesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a rare ‘high’ risk severe weather outlook, warning millions in the Midwest and South.
There will be additional chances for severe storms that could affect more of Alabama from Saturday night into the day on Sunday. Above is the severe weather outlook for Saturday. Below is the outlook for Sunday: Tornadoes, damaging winds, hail and heavy rain will again be possible, according to the weather service.

NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center in its Sunday night update has maintained a Level 3 out of 5 (or enhanced) risk for severe weather for all of north and part of central Alabama tonight and into Monday morning (areas in orange in the map at the top of this post).
