First, Florida shot 13-for-33 on 3-pointers. Vanderbilt does have two games this season where it attempted at least 30 3-pointers and shot 39% or better on them, but both were during non-conference play. In SEC play, the closest the Commodores have come was hitting 11-for-26 against Alabama.

It’s also Auburn’s last game before its Iron Bowl of Basketball showdown with Alabama, a No. 1 versus No. 2 matchup that much of the college basketball world already has its eye on. Auburn can’t afford to look ahead, though, as Vanderbilt will be another Quad I opportunity in the midst of an SEC gauntlet.
