As severe thunderstorms threaten to hit parts of the Midwest and South, forecasters are warning of potentially deadly flash flooding, strong tornadoes and baseball-sized hail.

A day after parts of the Midwest and the South were bombarded with severe thunderstorms, hail and tornadoes, another round of storms — and life-threatening flash flooding — has been forecast for the region.

The U.S. National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for Southwest Louisiana and a flood watch for Northeast Louisiana.

The National Weather Service confirmed that EF-1 and EF-0 tornadoes touched down in Michigan from Sunday's storm.
