Anders Dreyer set up the tally to raise his MLS-leading assist total to 16 while helping San Diego FC maintain its hold on first place in the Western Conference.

In what was a physical match, Nashville SC fell 1-0 to San Diego FC at Snapdragon Stadium on July 25 in the first game between the two teams. It was only the second loss for Nashville SC since April 19.
