The tech giant says that Apple Cinemas is deliberately trying to confuse consumers into believing that it operates the movie theaters.

Cupertino technology giant Apple is suing an East Coast movie-theater chain called Apple Cinemas for trademark infringement, claiming it is confusing consumers and expanding too close to the iPhone maker’s gigantic circular “spaceship” headquarters.

Apple entered a lawsuit on Friday in Massachusetts alleging that the theater company is infringing on its trademark and using its brand to trick consumers into thinking they're attending a cinema operated by the tech company.
