With a bunch of new Michelin stars dished out this month (and a few taken away), there are now a whopping 85 restaurants in London that have been deemed worthy of Michelin star status.

The Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2025 was unveiled last night at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, bringing exciting news for London's culinary scene. A total of ten London restaurants were awarded their first Michelin star, while two establishments elevated their status to two stars.

Plates London has made history as the first fully vegan restaurant in the UK to receive a Michelin star. The East London restaurant, located on Old Street, was one of 26 restaurants to be recognised at the prestigious Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2025 ceremony,

London restaurants Oma, AngloThai, Lita, 64 Goodge Street, Cornus, Caractere, Row on 5, Dosa, Plates and Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London have each been awarded a Michelin star in the 2025 guide.
