However, Clarkson has canceled as a result of Blackstock's death last week, according to a since-expired Instagram Stories post from the concert's organizers.

The Because of You hitmaker, who shares two children with the late talent manager, will no longer perform at Band Together Texas, a concert to support those affected by July's devastating floods, on Sunday 17 August.

The post does not give any further details about her absence, but it does state "personal circumstances" as the reason for her decision. Fans know that Clarkson is grieving the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, the father of her two children. He died on Aug. 7.
