Mike Malott and Aiemann Zahabi have been matched up with some high profile opponents at UFC Vancouver in October.

Marlon Vera vs. Aiemann Zahabi added to UFC Vancouver card; main event features Umar Nurmagomedov vs. Mario Bautista excitement.

Canadian Aiemann Zahabi, ranked 10th among bantamweight contenders, will face No. 7 Marlon (Chito) Vera of Ecuador on the Oct. 18 UFC Fight Night card in Vancouver.

At UFC 315 back in May, he took on a legend in former champion Jose Aldo. Zahabi survived nearly getting finished to squeak out a decision against Aldo pushing him to the top ten at 135 pounds.

Former two-time featherweight champion Jose Aldo entered his UFC 315 fight against Aiemann Zahabi hoping to make another run at a UFC championship. Following the fight, Aldo seemingly retired.

The organization released the news on Thursday that Marlon Vera (23-10-1) vs. Aiemann Zahabi (13-2) would be taking place on the lineup of UFC Vancouver.
