The Washington Commanders have signed veteran kicker Matt Gay and released Zane Gonzalez. Gay spent the past two NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported that Washington is signing Gay to a one-year contract and releasing Gonzalez.
