Fueled by sophomore John Blackwell and excellent bench play, Wisconsin Basketball notched a 26-tally win over the Washington Huskies on Tuesday.

In the aftermath of the big victory, here are a few stats that defined the result. These numbers will be important for Wisconsin moving forward, especially when it travels to East Lansing for a huge game against the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday.

Wisconsin will literally beat up the Huskies in the halfcourt, exploiting UW’s weakness versus screen-heavy attacks. The Badgers throw a lot of bodies in the way, thriving off screens and pick-and-roll schemes, while creating isolation mismatches in the process. All that contact on the offensive end will have the Huskies packing up by halftime.

Greg Gard's team dominated Washington on Tuesday night, winning 88-62 after leading by as many as 32 points in the second half. The result pushed the team to 22-6 on the season and 12-5 in Big Ten play, inching it 1/2 game closer to the top spot in the conference.
