The New York Giants turned a lot of heads when they signed quarterback Russell Wilson to a one-year, $10.5 million contract just days after agreeing to a two-year, $8 million deal with Jameis Winston.
At the NFL’s annual meetings Monday, general manager Joe Schoen sounded content with signing Wilson and Jameis Winston. With Stafford re-signing with the Rams and Rodgers still deciding on his options, Schoen pivoted to Wilson after the two sides met on March 14.
Jameis Winston wasn't able to envision himself as the Giants' new starting quarterback for long, but he's welcoming the opportunity to compete alongside Russell Wilson in 2025.
