Falcons GM Terry Fontenot and coach Raheem Morris will be in Indianapolis this week for the NFL combine as they look to improve the roster.

As the Vikings descend upon Indianapolis this week for the 2025 NFL Combine, they find themselves in a familiar position. Just last year, the Vikings were the first domino that needed to fall when Kirk Cousins was set to become a free agent.

Falcons General Manager Terry Fontenot said in January that the team is comfortable with Kirk Cousins as their backup quarterback for the 2025 season and he said the same thing from the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Tuesday.

The Falcons were unaware that QB Kirk Cousins was dealing with an injury late last season beyond a single injury report. Cousins, who had hurt his right shoulder and right elbow in Week 10, is expected to remain QB2 in 2025.
