Following the release of the eight developer betas, Apple has now made the fifth public beta of iOS 26 and its other software updates available for download.

Following iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 8 earlier today, Apple has released the fifth iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 public betas. For iPhone and iPad users on the public beta train, simply go to the Settings app > General section > Software Update to look for the over-the-air updates to iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 public beta 5.

Early beta users have access to these new features now and they will likely roll out to all compatible iPhones in the fall.
