Trinity Rodman waltzed back into action for the Washington Spirit against the Portland Thorns in her NWSL return, with the USWNT star scoring a remarkable goal in injury time to push her team past the finish line.

Spirit coach Adrian Gonzalez, who marked his debut as full-time head coach with the dramatic victory, mentioned after the game that because of Rodman’s minutes management, she was only ever going to play 15 minutes.
