Toyota Motor Company recalled 40,922 Toyota and Lexus vehicles due to damage with the second-row center seatbelt webbing. The company initiated the recall after it found damage caused by incorrect tooling during a hot-knife cutting process at one of the company’s manufacturing facilities, according to the NHTSA.

Toyota is recalling certain model years of its Camry sedan, along with a number of RX and NX SUVs from Toyota’s high-end Lexus line, over seat belt issues, with over 40,000 potentially affected vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. (Edward Pevos/MLive.com)
