The New York Yankees got a massive win on Wednesday night, and new acquisition Ryan McMahon was at the center of it all.

The Yankees have had a need for a third baseman since releasing DJ LeMahieu and moving Jazz Chisholm back to the keystone. As of late, manager Aaron Boone has used a combination of Oswald Peraza and Jorbit Vivas at the hot corner. Clearly New York, now 4 ½ games back in the American League East, was not satisfied with that arrangement.

Ryan McMahon has quickly impressed New York Yankees fans. On Sunday, he helped spark a comeback with a tying, two-run double and some impressive defense in a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies that ended a three-game losing streak.
