Dexter became a tropical storm on Saturday night. As of late Monday, it was stirring up in the Atlantic Ocean about 345 miles north of Bermuda, the NOAA said. It had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph on Monday and was moving northeast.

Tropical Storm Henriette forms in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Monday with 45 mph winds. The National Hurricane Center forecast some additional strengthening in the coming days.

Forecasters say Tropical Storm Gil has become a hurricane in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The U.S. National Hurricane Center reported Friday that the storm was about 1,080 miles west-southwest of Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
