A National Park Service webpage about the Underground Railroad has been restored to its original state months after it was changed to remove abolitionist leader Harriet Tubman from the top of the page.

The webpage's administrators temporarily changed an introductory paragraph to emphasize “Black/White Cooperation.”

Historians and others say the changes to the language on the National Park Service website "erases history" and "changes the truth."
