The death toll from Russia’s heavy bombardment of Ukraine’s capital this week has risen to 31 people, marking the deadliest single attack on Kyiv in a year, Ukrainian officials said on Friday.

L ONDON and KYIV, Ukraine -- A Russian aerial strike that hit several residential buildings in Kyiv killed six people, including a 6-year-old boy, the head of the city's military administration said Thursday.
