Rodriguez, who is ticketed for a start in the 151st Kentucky Derby (G1) on May 3 at the Louisville track, worked five furlongs in 1:00.40 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Rodriguez is a late foal (he was born on May 20), and his sire, 2020 Kentucky Derby winner Authentic, didn't get good until late in his 3-year-old year.
