The Detroit Pistons announced Friday the signing of free agent Javonte Green. Green, 32, appeared in a combined 68 games last season as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans (50 games) and Cleveland Cavaliers (18 games). The veteran wing averaged 5.1 points on 42.9% shooting from the field and 3.2 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game.

Javonte Green will join a different Eastern Conference team on a 1-year contract after he finished last season with the Cavs and hit NBA free agency.

Green spent last season with the Pelicans and Cavaliers, making 68 total regular season appearances. More at Hoops Rumors.
