PM Modi chaired a top security meet on Tuesday and gave complete operational freedom to the armed forces to decide and hit the targets as part of India's response to terror attack in Baisaran.

India has flagged a Pakistani minister's "open confession" to training and funding terrorists, at the United Nations, amid soaring tensions between the two nations in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 tourists dead.

"Seven days have passed since the Pahalgam incident but, so far, India has not provided a shred of evidence for its baseless allegations against Pakistan," army spokesman Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry told reporters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
