First responders traveled to the site using snowmobiles and found two people inside the helicopter, authorities said. One was dead, and the other was taken to a hospital.

The crash involved a Bell 505 helicopter and took place at the Ririe Reservoir. The coroner said Bradford Brown, 59, of Utah died in the crash.

A woman from western Idaho is dead following a two-vehicle collision near Homedale. It happened Thursday at 6:59 a.m. on U.S. Highway 95 at milepost 31 south of Homedale, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.
