Daylight Saving Time (DST) takes place each year on the second Sunday of March until the first Sunday in November. While we “spring forward” in March, in November, the clocks “fall back” and we gain an extra hour of sleep overnight.

Despite sleep experts -- and the president -- wanting to eliminate time changes, daylight saving time is about to begin again.

Florida became the first state to enact legislation to permanently observe it in 2018, though the measure has yet to receive Congressional approval.
