The devastating loss to the Packers in the 2023 playoffs cut short what could have been a much better ending to the story of those Cowboys.

Netflix’s newest sports documentary, “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys,” will debut Aug. 19, and the streaming giant held a premiere for the show Monday at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The event was attended by Jerry Jones, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and others associated with the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys fans are rallying around owner Jerry Jones after revealing on Wednesday that he battled stage 4 melanoma for over a decade. Jones told The Dallas Morning News that he received a June 2010 diagnosis and later took an experimental trial drug to battle the cancer. The Pro Football Hall of Famer had two lung and two lymph node surgeries.
