While nearly 2,000 men's college basketball players have entered the transfer portal, not all of them have found homes quite yet for next season.

The college basketball transfer portal is open! Here are the most notable players in the portal and where they're going to play next season.

The women's college basketball transfer portal opened one week later than it did last year, but that hasn't curtailed the activity. Since it opened March 24, more than 1,200 players have entered. Just over 100 have already committed to new schools, but with the portal open for another three weeks much more activity is expected.

Michigan basketball is losing some size this offseason with Vlad Goldin graduating and a strong likelihood that Danny Wolf departs for the NBA. But the Wolverines have been striking gold in the transfer portal as of late.

The NCAA transfer portal opened March 24, which was a few days before BYU's season came to an end with a loss to Alabama in the Sweet 16. It did't take much longer for the Cougars to utilize college basketball's transfer mechanism — in both directions.
