The Cincinnati Reds are just two games back in the NL Wild Card race with a 56-51 record. The Reds will look to close that gap when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday at 7:10 p.m. ET. Cincinnati has won four of its past five games but is coming off a 5-2 loss to the Dodgers on Monday.

The Reds did all their scoring in the first inning. Austin Hays and Gavin Lux had back-to-back RBI singles to drive in T.J. Friedl to get on the scoreboard, and then Matt McLain for an insurance run, respectively.

The right-hander has a 6.26 ERA in six games this season with Cincinnati to go along with 45 strikeouts. Despite the high ERA, Burns has pitched better than that number shows. He gave up five runs and recorded just one out against the Red Sox when he was thought to be tipping his pitches.

Despite the Reds' loss, Glasnow will face a hot team when he makes his ninth start of the season. The Dodgers snapped Cincinnati's four-game winning streak on Monday, but the Reds remain in the thick of the National League wild-card race.
