Dave Mason, co-founder of the psychedelic British band Traffic and songwriter behind “Feelin’ Alright” and “Hole in My Shoe,” died Sunday at his home in Gardnerville, Nevada

British rock musician Dave Mason, co-founder of 1970s rock band Traffic, died Sunday, April 19, at age 79.

Mason co-founded Traffic in 1967 with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, and Chris Wood in Birmingham, England.
