The Indiana Pacers had the lead late in Game 4, but the Oklahoma City Thunder were able to even the series at 2-2 with a 111-104 win on June 13. Late in the game, Bennedict Mathurin missed three critical free throws for the Pacers.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver addressed the negative feedback from the first two games of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers. Bill Simmons thinks that the new international basketball league is trying to get LeBron James to join due to Maverick Carter being involved.
