DOES ANYONE remember clackers? One of the most basic – not to say genitally suggestive – toys of the 1970s comprised two plastic spheres, each suspended from a string attached to the same plastic tab.
That story about manual typewriters in The Sun Chronicle the other day made me nostalgic. I must have spent more than three decades typing on those noisy things. And I loved every minute of it.
