Beyoncé finally made a surprise announcement through Netflix that she will be going on tour with her eighth studio album "Cowboy Carter."

Beyoncé is taking "Cowboy Carter" on the road for 2025. The singer announced an accompanying tour to her country album on Sunday.

Beyoncé has officially announced plans for a Cowboy Carter tour, following a hint in her Beyoncé Bowl Netflix special. The tour is in support of her eighth album, though details on dates and locations remain undisclosed.

Beyoncé shared an Instagram graphic of neon lights that read “ Cowboy Carter Tour.” She then posted a photo of herself in platinum blonde micro braids, bleached eyebrows and bright red lipstick with “Cowboy Carter Tour” written across the top again. Fans expected the Cowboy Carter tour announcement much sooner, as Beyoncé was leading up to a special announcement on Jan. 14 that she postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires. Some online fans claimed that despite the announcement cancelation, they received notifications that Beyoncé would be performing in their city.

Those who took Netflix’s bait were treated to a new clip at the end, a still of the singer and the words “Cowboy Carter Tour” with “Sweet Honey Buckiin’” as a soundtrack. Shortly thereafter, the singer’s official account dropped a photo of the singer, silvery blonde hair in platinum braids, with the all-caps caption “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025.
